Workplace Health Without Borders plans to resume regular teleconferences featuring interesting presentations and engaging discussions.
Their next meeting, on February 10 at 10:00 a.m Eastern Standard Time, they will be launching a series to explore what was learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and how it can be used to work towards positive change.
Speakers on February 10 will be two WHWB Board members – Marianne Levitsky and Claudina Nogueira. Backgrounds are available here.
Claudina and Marianne plan to talk about what was learned from COVID-19 and where to go from here. The talk will include the “without borders” perspective along a number of dimensions – geographical, professional, socio-economic. They will address multi-disciplinary collaboration that has led to better understanding of how COVID-19 is transmitted and appropriate control measures like ventilation and respiratory protection. Claudina will share a global perspective as Vice-President of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), and they will also talk about the inequities of COVID-19 and how they can address them. The presentations will be followed by a discussion session.
In subsequent teleconferences this year they will invite other speakers to reflect on these and similar themes.
Please join WCWB at 10:00 a.m. EST on February 10; RSVP here. Log-in details are below. Check your local time here.
